**Dual Enrollment Update**

Any student still wishing to enroll in the dual enrollment program with Lackawanna College can do so by signing up no later than April 30, 2020. A completed registration form and tuition payment can be mailed directly to:

Both our SSIS and SHS students were amazing yesterday, their hard work and dedication paid off big time!
With 3 students earning 2nd Awards, 13 students earning 1st awards, and 4 students earning Perfect Awards
As if the night couldn't get any better, 93% of our students at SSIS will move onto the State competition earning us the last award of the evening - The Small School Award - for having the highest number of advancing students than any other school!!!

Huge thanks to SHS alum Zach Holden for volunteering his time to speak with our students who are interested in pursuing engineering as a career. This is another session that is part of our lunch and learn: career series. Zach is a graduate of Penn State, University Park. He is currently employed as a civil engineer at Tobyhanna Army Depot. He provided our students with knowledge about his education and career. It was a great opportunity for them to get some of their questions answered. #campusofchampions #schoolcounseling #careerdevelopment

Statement on PIAA Athletic Championships

Statement on PIAA Athletic Championships: PIAA Board of Directors decided this morning by a unanimous vote to suspend the PIAA basketball and AA boys’ and girls’ swimming and diving championships for minimally a two week period. The AAA swimming and diving championships at Bucknell University have been truncated with limited spectators and will conclude at the end of today’s mid-afternoon diving session. The Board of Directors, in consultation with various health departments, believes this action is in the best interest of our member schools, their student-athletes, sports officials and the general public.

**IMPORTANT SAT TESTING INFORMATION** Due to recommendation of the State Government and Health Organizations, this Saturday's SAT TEST is POSTPONED to Saturday, March 28th. All test registrants from this weekend will be moved to that test date.
