4th Annual Disability Employment & College Fair For Transitioning Students with Special Needs

This event will feature employers, agency, and higher education representatives who can assist students with disabilities as they transition out of high school. Also featured will be experts on transportation programs, Social Security benefits, vocational rehabilitation supports, and workplace accommodation technology. Target Audiences:
Students with Disabilities, Parents, Transition Counselors, Guidance Counselors, and Special Education Teachers.

Career Technology Center Open House

Attention Freshmen Students and Parents. Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County will host an open house on Friday, November 10th from 8:30 through 11:00AM and 12:30 through 3:00PM. Students and their parents are invited to tour renovated classrooms, see shop demonstrations, learn how to obtain certifications, meet faculty, discover co-op opportunities and learn about high priority occupations. 2017 Battle for the Bell Featured Nationwide

This fall, MaxPreps and the National Guard will visit high school football rivalries all across the country as they honor what is quite possibly the greatest tradition in sports. They're sending photographers and videographers out to capture the whole rivalry experience between some of the longest standing rivals in the nation.

Their second game of the season takes them to Scranton, Pennsylvania for the Battle of the Bell.

Scranton is scoring to defeat childhood cancer this September!

In support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the Scranton Knights football team is proud to join Touchdowns Against Cancer 2017! All proceeds will be donated directly to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Touchdowns Against Cancer is important to Scranton because childhood cancer remains the leading cause of death by disease among young Americans. This is our way of helping the 16,000 children and adolescents that will be diagnosed with cancer this year.
